Niwa shopping center is a well - recognizable shopping destination in the region of Małopolska and the only shopping center in the city. The center was built in 2009, then in 2011 was expanded to 14 200 sq m of GLA. On the three levels there are 50 stores, supermarket Carrefour and the first cinema in the area – a four screen Planet Cinema. Among the renowned Polish and international brands available at Niwa shopping center are: H&M, Reserved, Cropp, House, Mohito, CCC, Orsay, Martes Sport, Sizeer, Rossmann. Niwa shopping center is located in the northern part of the city, at Powstańców Śląskich 1 street, only 2 km from the city center. The scheme is located near to the national route 44, connecting Upper Silesia with Kraków.
